Dr. Jay B. Nayak, MD

Dr. Nayak is an Oncologist/Hematologist with Anderson Area Cancer Center.  He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in medical oncology and hematology.  Dr. Nayak completed his internal medicine residency and was the chief medical resident at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in Bronx, New York.  After residency, he completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Montefiore Medical Center at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York.  Dr. Nayak earned a Master of Science in biology from St. John’s University in Jamaica, New York, and completed medical school (MBBS) from Pramukswami Medical College at Sardar Patel University in Anand, India.  Dr. Nayak was inspired to help others through medicine by his father, who is also a physician.  He enjoys spending time in nature, working in his garden and hiking nature trails.
